What is Covered:
- Calibration Precision: We warrant that the calibration performed by our technicians meets the functional requirements of your vehicle’s safety systems at the time of service.
- Service Faults: If the ADAS camera or sensor fails to function correctly due to a fault in our calibration process or the glass installation, Glass Genie will perform a secondary recalibration at no additional cost.
What is Not Covered:
- Post-Service Changes: Any changes to the vehicle’s ride height (e.g., new suspension, lifting, or lowering) or wheel alignment performed after our calibration.
- System Hardware Failure: Physical failure of the camera or sensor hardware that is unrelated to the glass installation or calibration process.
- Subsequent Damage: Damage to the windshield, camera, or sensors caused by road hazards, collisions, or external impact.
- Third-Party Adjustments: Any attempt by another repair facility or individual to adjust, move, or recalibrate the camera after our service is performed.
- Diagnostic Warning Lights: Warning lights triggered by issues unrelated to the windshield-mounted camera (e.g., engine faults or rear-view sensor issues).
Service Process
Depending on your vehicle’s requirements, we perform either Static Calibration (in-shop using specialized targets) or Dynamic Calibration (performed while driving the vehicle at specific speeds). Upon completion, we verify that the system is synchronized and ready for the road.
